Vampire Weekend heading to Adelaide

The Groovin' The Moo sideshows keep mooovin' on up

Yesterday Rip It Up Digital brought you the news of two massive Groovin' The Moo sideshows swinging by Adelaide in May. Now comes the one we've all been waiting for. The festival headliners and well-read indie college-types Vampire Weekend have locked in a string of headline dates around the country and Adelaide has not been forgotten.

The Vampire Weekend has risen dramatically over the past few months, with the release of their second album Contra and the four-piece scoring two songs into the recent TripleJ Hottest 100. Their live show involves a bevvy of effervescent guitar rock and skinny-legged to-ing and fro-ing. Make sure you catch them when they drop by.

Vampire Weekend play Thebarton Theatre on Thu May 6. Tickets on sale Mon Feb 22 or Thu Feb 18 if you're a Frontier Touring member.
