Bonobo Announces Adelaide Falls Sideshow

Words by Miranda Freeman October 8, 2013

Off the back of his successful fifth album The North Borders, British producer Bonobo returns to Australia this summer for three Falls sideshows.

Following his performance at the festival alongside Solange and Vampire Weekend, the beatmaker, otherwise known as Simon Green, will hit Sydney’s Opera House on Jan 6, Melbourne’s Palace Theatre on Jan 7 and Adelaide’s Governor Hindmarsh on Jan 8 to deliver his pioneering brand of live electronica.

Have a listen to The North Borders’ frosty, synth-laded lead single Cirrus below.

Notching a staggering 50 million plays online and screen features from the likes of Lost to Gossip Girl, Bonobo has firmly belied early ‘easy listening’ tags through a five-album journey of otherworldly, culture-crossing electronica.

His Adelaide show at The Gov on Wed Jan 8 will see him joined by local producer Oisima and electronic three-piece Flamingo.

A pre-sale will be available from Wed Oct 9 to Thu Oct 10, with general tickets on sale at 9am, Fri Oct 11 through
