It’s not very often that a young Sydney producer/DJ is able to surpass major pop juggernauts on commercial radio charts, but Flume has done just that.
Off the back of months of hype and single releases, Flume, aka 21-year-old electro whiz Harley Streten, has experienced a meteoric response to the release of his debut album, which features collaborations with acts like Chet Faker and Anna Lunoe. Released just this month, his ever-growing fan base has already bumped the album to #1 in its first week on iTunes, demoting British pop outfit One Direction to the #2 spot, and currently sits at #2 spot on the ARIA charts. This is all despite the fact that Streten has generously uploaded the entire album to his Soundcloud, which can you can listen to below for free.
