Listen: Cut Copy Unveil New Single ‘Let Me Show You’
Words By
- Miranda
Not ones to be satisifed with an iTunes release, over the weekend Cut Copy unveiled their latest track Let Me Show You via a series of exclusive 12” vinyls hand-cut in a booth at Pitchfork Music Festival. One of the lucky punters to walk away with one of the vinyls has even gone as far to upload the song in action for our listening pleasure.
Each copy of the limited vinyl was pressed on site using a lathe machine with the recipient’s name then engraved on the back. Here’s the vinyl being created below.
The track, nearly over six minutes long, combines a throbbing electronic beat with psychedelic undercurrents and banked harmonies from vocalist Dan Whitford. It sounds really, really good.
We’re looking forward to getting our fingers on this one when it becomes available … give it a spin below.
