For the first time in the dance music festival’s history, Stereosonic will span over two days in each city as it treks across the nation over November and December.
Already featuring a huge bill of some of the biggest stars of the genre, including headliners David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren and Calvin Harris – as well as Adelaide’s very own Late Nite Tuff Guy! – there’s plenty more to come from Stereosonic as organisers are set to unveil the second round of acts a bit later in the year.
Following on from recent announcements that Zedd and Gareth Emery will be joining the nation tour, Stereosonic will see the usual mix of hard dance, trance, house, techno and electro, only amplified by the sheer amount of DJs who will be hitting the stages over this coming summer. Expect to see the return of Empire Of The Sun (who will play on the back of their new album Ice On The Dune), as well as members of Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell and Flume’s new “club friendly” project with Sydney-based beat-maker Emoh, What So Not.
Tickets go on sale on Thu Aug 1 from Ticketmaster, with Adelaide shows taking place on Fri Dec 6 and Sat Dec 7 at the Adelaide Showgrounds.
