Warner Music Seeking Talent With Open Auditions
Words By
- Ena Vujcic
Think you could be the next answer to Kimbra or Bruno Mars? Then you may, just may, be in luck, as Warner Music Australia will be holding nationwide open talent auditions in a bid to find our next big superstar this July.
Up for grabs is a recording deal with the label which has produced the likes of Surfer Blood, Flume, Atlast Genius, Fidlar, Icona Pop and Kylie Minogue, amongst countless others.
Shying away from talent show gimmicks, the open auditions will be going ‘back to basics’, and will be open to artists of all genres and all ages above 12.
Contestants are asked to prepare a song, an original or a cover, which they will be asked to perform on the day as a capella or with acoustic backing.
The Adelaide auditions will take place at Adelaide Town Hall on Tue Jul 9 at 10am.
Fri Jul 5 – Southport Community Centre, Gold Coast at 10am
Sat Jul 6 – Brisbane Town Hall, Brisbane at 10am
Sun Jul 7 – Darwin Entertainment Centre, Darwin at 10am
Mon Jul 8 – Perth Town Hall, Perth at 10am
Tue Jul 9 – Adelaide Town Hall, Adelaide at 10am
Wed Jul 10 – Melbourne Town Hall, Melbourne at 10am
Fri Jul 12 – Sydney Town Hall, Sydney at 10am
