Watch: Cut Copy Play New Song ‘Explorers’ Live
Words By
- Miranda
Ahead of performing at New York’s washed out Governors Ball, this week Australian electronic outfit Cut Copy previewed a brand new track live on stage during a show in Charlottesville, Virginia.
In the fan-shot video, lead vocalist Dan Whitford makes mention of the band’s “new record,” of which the track is lifted from, before launching into a complex new tune called Explorer.
While there’s not much else on their forthcoming new album, a photo posted on the band’s official Instagram last year suggests that they have teamed up with The Avalanches in the studio.
Explorers marks Cut Copy’s first new material since 2011’s album Zonoscope. Listen to it below.
