What So Not, the hyped Sydney electronic duo comprised of Emoh (Chris Emerson) and Flume (Harley Streten), are preparing to flex their musical muscles this June with the release of their second EP The Quack.
The EP’s title track The Quack, which features NY rapper Action Bronson, beatmaker Blood Diamons and youthful Queens rap export D Mac, is set to be premiered on Mark Ronson’s East Village Radio show over the next few weeks followed by a pre-release of the EP in ‘dub’ form via iTunes on May 17.
The Quack EP will serve as the follow-up to What So Not’s debut 7 Dollar Bill. The sophomore is slated for release on Jun 14 via Sweat It Out.
While Flume is off playing to sold-out stadiums with his Infinity Prism tour, Emoh will take on the role of What So Not for a series of DJ sets including a stint at Adelaide’s Electric Circus on Fri May 24.
Adding yet another notch to their belts, this May the DJ duo will also commence a residency on Triple J dance program Mix Up, guest programming Saturday nights from 9pm with Nina Las Vegas.
