Adelaide West End Xmas Market And Carnivale 2014

Words by December 4, 2014

For the fourth year in a row, the Adelaide West End Association has planned to see out the year in style, with the West End Xmas Art Market & Carnival.

Supported by local retailers and venues, the end of year celebration is loaded with dance and music. Two dedicated performance areas will be set up, one on Leigh Street and the other on Peel. The latter will be a DJ stage. Roving performers will be crossing between the lanes, and Color Cosmetica will be on facepainting duty for kids and adults. The full entertainment program can be seen below.

Bricks-and-mortar businesses nearby are getting involved, with Casablabla, Udaberri, Bollywood Indian Restaurant, COS, Chihuahua Bar, Kaffana, Barbushka and La Rambla Tapas Bar all lending their support.

Market stalls on the day include jewellery from Poschka Designs and Christine Pyman, glassworks from Christina Smith. Ceramicist Anna Couper will return to the markets, having supported the event for the last four years.

The West End Xmas Art Market & Carnival begins at midday on Sunday, December 14.
