Friday nights are about to get a whole lot better for Adelaide’s fashion pack with the Hotel Richmond presenting their monthly fashion parade, #FreshFashionFridays.

The event itself aims to not only showcase up and coming designers but also the newest models and tradespeople of the Adelaide fashion industry. It’s a free event that just wants to celebrate the flourishing fashion scene and give these new talents the much-needed experience in putting on parades while also encouraging those who want to break into the industry to come along and watch the magic happen.

After last month’s successful launch featuring the designs of local label Millicent Elizabeth, the next batch of new industry faces are ready and raring to go for the next event. Beginning at 7pm this Friday, May 8, the latest #FreshFashionFriday will feature designs by local talents Georgia Guy and Ashlee Graham.

Other Adelaide institutions will also be providing their services with FTM Model Management lending out fresh new faces for the runway, Hung Tran and his team from Blow! It’s a Hair Thing looking after hair and the ladies from Inglot Adelaide leading the makeup charge.

“I’d like to see more people doing things like this, we have such a small industry that everyone seems to know everyone,” says event organiser Tiffany Rouge. “It’s a great chance for someone who’s thinking about getting into fashion design, or makeup, or hairdressing to come and have a chat and get advice from the people who are here, already doing it.”

An array of goodies will also be provided on the night as well as the announcement of who the designers for the next event will be. You don’t want to miss out on this.
