Margaery Tyrell, The Hoff heading to Adelaide Supanova

Words by July 11, 2014

It may be winter now, but Supanova is coming. The pop culture convention has has added to its first line-up of guests for the Adelaide and Brisbane editions this November, with Game Of Thrones starlet Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) now gracing the pop culture expo.

She will be joined by the already announced perennial man of mystery David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff, True Blood bloodsucker Kristin Bauer van Staten (Pam), Doctor Who alum Neve McIntosh (Madame Vastra), Merlin’s Eoin Macken and Alexander Vlahos (Gwaine and Mordred respectively), James Kyson (Ando from Heroes) and Janina Gavankar (Papi from The L Word, Luna Garza from True Blood).

But the lady of the hour will undoubtedly be Natalie Dormer, whose appearance at Supanova coincides with the release of the first instalment of Hunger Games: Mockingjay, in which Dormer appears as film director Cressida.

As well as her beguiling role as Margaery Tyrell in Game Of Thrones, Dormer has also starred as Anne Boleyn in The Tudors, Irene Adler in Elementary and one of Chris Hemsworth’s floozies in Rush.

Supanova takes place at the Adelaide Showgrounds from Friday November 21 to Sunday November 23 before heading to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from Friday November 28 to Sunday November 30.
