Friday, March 11

Wireheads Arrive Alive
The Hotel Metro, 9.00pm

Continuing their Metro residency, Wireheads are working up momentum ahead of the release of their third album Arrive Alive. With loud guitars, a gaggle of members and a penchant for the occasional jumpsuit, they always put on a fun show.

Check out the new single:

WOMADelaide 2016
Botanic Park

WOMADelaide is bursting with international acts from all around the world, but there’s also a huge local contingent ranging from the Pilot Records-curated Electrolounge stage to Surahn, Wasted Wanderers and Ripley.

The Violet Crams, Acres Ahead, Pemberton
Crown and Anchor, 9.00pm

For all the Fringe and Festival madness consuming the city, sometimes it’s nice to know that know that some parts of the Adelaide music scene just keep on bubbling away. In this instance, the Crown and Anchor will be a particularly loud oasis when The Violet Crams head up a solid Friday lineup.

Saturday, March 12

Tough Uncle single launch
Ancient World, 8.00pm

They might spend most of their time in Melbourne of late, but these three gents cut their teeth in Adelaide with their old band Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! Ducking back over state lines to launch new single Doctor, make ‘em feel at home.

Tiger Can Smile EP launch
The Exeter, 9.00pm

Led by singer/songwriter Steve Rosewarne, Tiger Can Smile have a sound that’s hard edged, but only from feeling too much. Like the rock equivalent of a callus on your guitar fingers. Catch them play tracks like Blue Eyed Bag of Shit off their debut EP Lollipop Park.

Sunday, March 13

The Role Models
The Jade, 6.00pm

We’re not really sure what to expect from this show. Billed as “Adelaide’s premier boy band”, this comedic pair will attempt to scale the artistic and harmonic heights of Savage Garden, the Backstreet Boys with their debut performance. Let’s hope they manage to pull of an 5IVE, instead of a Mercury 4.

Monday, March 14

Rhythm Caravan
Crown & Anchor, 6.00pm

Adelaide instrument hopping bassist Chris Bass has played with everyone from Sia Furler to his bro Suffa of the Hilltop Hoods. This Fringe show promises to be an epic journey through time and bass, with music and rhythms from every content… except Antarctica maybe, penguins are notoriously slack at writing killer basslines.
