Motez
Royal Croquet Club

Fresh from dropping a sweet new track in the form of Down Like This with Tkay Maidza, Motez is stepping up to kick off the second weekend of Fringe partying at the Royal Croquet Club.

Max Savage Born To Run
Jive, 8.00pm

This Fringe a whole bunch of solid local musos are taking advantage of the festival spirit and curating tribute shows. Over two nights Max Savage will be tackling Springsteens Born To Run, then Van Morrisson’s Astral Weeks on Saturday.

Dive Bars & Bar Flies
Southwark Hotel, 8.00pm

With an eye to bringing live acts out to some of the older and, let’s face it, not quite as trendy pubs and bars around Adelaide, the first of this series will bring Kelly Menhennet, Matt Ward and P James Heggart to the Southern Hotel for some Port Road goodtimes.

Keep On Chooglin: Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival
Crown & Anchor

We told you there were tribute shows. This one brings together folks from Adelaide acts like The Dunes and A Ghost Orchestra for a Creedence Clearwater Revival revival. Hope no one faints from excitement, because a Creedence Clearwater Revival revival revival would be a little too much

Sunday, February 21

PilotFest
Lotus Lounge

In bittersweet news Adelaide label Pilot Records is saying goodbye after four years, but not before one final PilotFest. Expect huge sets from the likes of Oisima, Luke Million and Phil Rogers, plus an album launch set from How Green.

Grace: The Songs of Jeff Buckley
The Wheatsheaf, 4.30pm

Last year Louis Donnarumma teamed up with #RIUHotSix singer/songwriter Maggie Rutjens for a series of duet performances. This time around, he’s turned his eye to the tragically short career of Jeff Buckley with ‘Grace’.

Lather – Helsinki and Elsewhere
K-Tunes Lounge, 7.30pm

It takes a certain brand of musical prowess, reckless ambition and a frankly bizarre sense of humour to attempt to tackle the almost mythic figure of Frank Zappa. It should be a weird and wonderful night.
