Enduring Belfast punk rockers Stiff Little Fingers are heading to Australia in 2016 to play a brisk run of shows.
Originally formed in 1977, the Northern Ireland band released four albums before splitting in 1983. They since reformed in 1987, and have been consistently playing with a fairly fluid lineup based around frontman Jake Burns for nearly thirty years, including former bassist of The Jam Bruce Foxton for over a decade. It’s one of those rare instances where the reunion manages to outlast the original term of the band.
With original bassist Ali McMordie back in the fold since 2006, the band is rounded out by long-running guitarist and drummer combo Ian McCallum and Steve Grantley.
They’ll play Adelaide on Wednesday, March 30, tickets available now via Metropolis Touring.
