The Whitlams might just be the best organised band in Australia, having just announced their return to Adelaide next September.
That’s almost a year to the day since their last show in these parts just a few months ago, giving SA Whitlam fans almost as big a run up as Taylor Swift’s upcoming Australian tour announced last December. And given their last tour sold out pretty solidly, the extended notice is probably just as justified as Tay Tay’s.
Maybe they’ll be touring a new album? Maybe they’ll be content to play the hits? Maybe one of them will fall pregnant in an Arnold Schwarzenegger-Junior style twist? Who knows what could happen in 10 months time!
All we know is that if you’re like most people and have barely planned what you’ll be doing next weekend, this is the perfect opportunity to at least lock down something to build the rest of your September 2016 schedule around.
The Whitlams will hit The Gov on Friday, September 9 with doors opening at 7.30pm. Tickets available now via The Gov.
