UK singer/songwriter and Ed Sheeran bud Jamie Lawson is heading back to Australia next year for a solo headline tour.
Not, we were surprised to learn, the secret offspring of Nigella and Jamie, but in fact a hard slogging musician of over a decade, Lawson had his biggest taste of international success earlier this year year with the re-release of his uber earnest, Jack-Johnson-with-a-British-lilt 2011 track Wasn’t Expecting That through Sheeran’s own label.
Having performed as a guest on Sheeran’s last big tour of Australia, Lawson is back for another crack on his own steam after a short run of shows in August. This time he’s back with a new self-titled album in tow.
