Legendary Scottish rock band, Big Country will be heading to Australia this June.
Known for infusing Scottish folk and traditional music into their tracks, Big Country peaked in popularity in the 80s and have maintained a cult popularity ever since. Having never toured Oz or New Zealand – despite a cancelled tour in the mid 80s – those fortunate enough to attend this must-see reunion event will be treated to a complete greatest hits set-list.
With a current lineup consisting of Bruce Watson (guitar, mandolin, sitar, vocals), Jamie Watson (guitars), Simon Houghthe (vocals, guitar, harmonica) and Mark Brzezicki (drums) you’ll never get a chance like this to experience the magic of seeing these rockin’ Scots in full flight.
Taking in all major mainland cities, Adelaide fans will be able to catch Big Country at the Gov on Thursday, June 16, tickets are available via Oztix.
